Benefibre may be a fine way to get one's daily dose of fiber, yet its only ingredient happens to be Inulin, which can also be use as a natural sweetener. The Sugar and Sweetener guide delves a little further into this beneficial ingredient, writing, "Not much use as a sweetener on it's own, but it is sometimes mixed with other high intensity sweeteners, and marketed as a low calorie sugar substitute."

Derived from the chicory root, Benefibre benefits from Inulin's natural background. People will appreciate it as a healthy supplement to any drink or meal since it has less than one third the calories of sugar, zero glycemic index and is suitable for diabetics. Not to mention that, as the name Benefibre suggests, it's chock full of fiber.
