BCV Architects have turned the wall of a building into a vertical garden of sorts. The piece of architecture is called the Bay Meadows Welcome Center, which now features one section of the facade which is completely covered in greenery.
The building is located in California, with the surrounding area looking quite brown due to the hot weather. Adding this feature to the wall of the building helps to draw people's attention to the structure, and associate it with a taste of lushness in an area that's mostly brown. The greenery is made up of a number of different plants, resulting in a pattern of sorts on the outside. The central area of the building is also quite spacious.
