Batis Rike's 'Odds and Ends' post puts forth a DIY design scheme that is both practical and tasteful. The German blog is home to seemingly endless decor tips, many of which are inspired by new art forms.

This particular project requires recycled paper and pieces of second hand wood. Designs carved into the planks (which can be done personally if desired) are used to press wet ink on to the gift wrap sheets.
