'Treeplets' is a unique bamboo tower installation that is actually made of three individual structures that all connect. The name is a play off of the word "tripod," which is reflective of the three different tree-like towers.
The team at 'Impromptu Projects' recently revealed this temporary installation in China as an attempt "to address the enactment between the citizens and the urban landscape." Each tree features a flat roof that looks like three different stages when viewed from above. Additionally, each bamboo tower is a different level, which creates a pleasant contrast to the tripod-mimicking structure.
The Treeplets are also illuminated at night to present a peaceful and warming vision for pedestrians and passersby. In addition to the beauty and powerful message, the installation used mostly recycled materials, which makes the structure eco-friendly.
