Crocs and B. Thom Stevenson Join Forces on a Set of Footwear
Crocs works in collaboration with both retailer Stance and artist B. Thom Stevenson on a new collection of footwear designs. The three join forces to aim to deliver the message that art should not be confined to a box and it features the artwork by Stevenson decorating the footwear.
This includes the hand-painted design language paired perfectly with the high-contrast tonal palette for a bold look through and through. The color palette is inspired by Thom's grandmother's quilts and the notable floral prints that it is often detailed with. This continues with the DIY mindset through the mosaic looks that include typography along with hand-painted patterns. Notably, all of this rests upon a black base foundation for a stark contrast.
