Artistoon Portraits Send Urban Drawings Over the Internet

A big part of the European charm is the opportunity this area provides for artistic expression, and Artistoon portraits are trying to take this particular experience digital. France is especially well-known for its large array of talented artist who roam the streets painting tourists and scenery. A digital version of this particular experience is never completely possible, however, the French startup Artistoon is bringing the gap between artist and client closer.

There are currently fifteen artist associated with Artistoon, any of whom could take the order sent via the startup’s portal. The prices range from 18 to 400 Euros, and they vary in style and size.

The startup names itself "Montmartre on the Web," according to Business Insider, eluding to the heavily artist-populated district of Paris. In the near future, Artistoon Portraits plans to expand its accessibility to North America where they believe French art is greatly appreciate and valued.
