Graphic illustrator and artist Martin De Pasquale creates surrealistic hyper-realities by infusing photography with Photoshop. In De Pasquale’s latest series of work, the artist edits and manipulates photographs of himself to create mind-bending and reality-defying manipulations.
De Pasquale's striking surrealist Photoshop images rival the work of artist Salvador Dali in detail and precision. De Pasquale’s images begin with a base image that De Pasquale cleverly alters and manipulates using Photoshop. The end result tends to be quite out of this world and even defies reality in some cases. For example, one image shows De Pasquale eating an apple only to be biting chunks out of himself. Another shows a miniature De Pasquale mowing his own beard.
If you’re interested in finding out how exactly De Pasquale created these breath-taking and bizarre photo manipulations, he has an instructional video up for you to watch.
