The Artem Ogurtsov Sententia book displays an assortment of realistic ocular depictions, each one illustrated by hand by the visual artist. Ogurtsov produced these compelling images with paper cut outs, acrylic and gold leaf paint, speaking to his talent and ability to work with minimal tools.

Present in each illustration of human eyes are mesmerizing patterns and shapes. Letters outline the faux eye balls much like human wrinkles and creases, allowing Ogurtsov to create realistic artistic renderings of blue, hazel and green varieties.

The word Sententia is a latin term that encompasses many of the moving traits that are commonly associated with eyes. Given the varied states of mind communicated through Ogurtsov's pieces, he has remained true to the essential meaning of the term.
