Ryan Alexiev’s latest exhibition, The Land of 1000 cereals, showcases the Los Angeles-born artist’s uncanny knack of creating images of iconic figures using breakfast cereal.

Pamela Anderson, Larry King and Osama bin Laden are all celebrity subjects in Alexiev’s exhibit. I also love his take on Hirst’s iconic skull with gold sprayed cereal.

Alexiev said “Cheerio!” to more traditional ways of working as a comment on “...US consumerism and how central cereals are to the American constitution.”
