Armageddon style is a blend of glam and grunge; of color and texture. Like many fashions, it is a personal expression adorn to charge the senses. There is no rule or rhyme to this modern movement, where rage is the rage. Derelict and tribal merged together with a few clever and creative garments, place in an apocalyptic landscape, and voila—you have Armageddon style.  I think this is a counter reaction to the high glamor and gloss of eighties fashion. It reflects the actuality of what’s going on with climate change, global warming and the collapse of capitalism.
