Independent Grocer Payment Partnerships

AppCard and Neighborhood Fresh Partnered for a New Program

AppCard and Neighborhood Fresh have announced a new partnership that will see the independent grocer leveraging the financial technology of AppCard to maximize payment and loyalty capabilities.

The partnership will see Neighborhood Fish offering its own branded payment card program that are both customized for the brand, but powered by the AppCard Credit Card and AppCard Smart Card. The launch will expand payment-linked rewards capabilities for the independent grocer that have previously been dominated by larger national chains. The partnership will make it easier for the brand to compete with larger retailers, especially by leveraging AppCard's handling of the banking, marketing, compliance and more.

Chief Growth Officer Jeremy Rabe spoke on the AppCard and Neighborhood Fresh partnership saying, "Independent grocers deserve access to the same loyalty-building tools that the largest retailers have used for decades. A grocer-branded card can turn everyday spend into stronger shopper engagement, more frequent store visits and rewards that come back to the store instead of leaving the grocery ecosystem.”
