‘I’ll Wait in the Car’ is a comical and endearing compilation of dog photographs by Marcie Jan Bronstein. The book is a collection of delightful photos of pups in vehicles, counting down the moments until their owner’s return.

The photos have been enhanced with a hand-painting process, creating a cool retro effect. As I viewed each image I snickered at the individual characters peering from the window cracks and from behind the steering wheels.

Surprisingly, the dogs don’t look sad; they have more of an expression of anticipation and curiosity. My favorite is the chocolate lab with his wide snout jammed through the open window in the gray truck. Stats for Anticipatory Dogtography Trending: Older & Chilly
