Leading edge computer innovation specialists AMD along with their Dragon Tech platform, have broken the CPU speed record clocking an amazing 7 GHz. Utilizing the AMD Phenom II on the new Dragon Tech platform, and some handy liquid helium, the group held an overclocking event reaching previously unseen speed results.

Although you might not consider a cpu speed over-clocking gathering to be an epic event, the AMD Dragon tech over-clocking video featuring some nu-metal background music is pretty cool.
