Well, America’s favorite twins are all grown up, and proud of their latest achievements in fashion that are well (extremely well) above a Wal-Mart shopper’s budget.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen now own a line known as The Row which is home to one of their most popular designs: a $39,000 alligator backpack. Don’t get me wrong, it is a nice backpack, but to some, spending the forty-thousand dollars on a new car might seem like a more attractive catch.
Despite the eye-widening price tag, this alligator backpack is currently sold out. Even though the US economy has not been its brightest, Ashley told WWD.com "It was the first thing that sold off the shelf."
