Increasingly, trend being witnessed in the women’s fashion industry is spreading to menswear. Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection demonstrates how a female wardrobe staple like a twin set is now being tailored to fashionable men. Instead of the old-man look we’re used to seeing grandpas and professors in, Dell’Acqua’s twist on the cardigan is much more Euro chic and almost feminine.

Later in his collection, the designer showcased models in cobalt blue trousers, demonstrating that a new fashion trend for women (bright, colourful pants) can also be applied to menswear.
