'Airportle' is a new airport-themed word guessing game inspired by the fame of 'Wordle.' Now, players who love guessing a word each day that are also into aviation and travel, have a new option for their daily game. 'Airportle uses International Air Transport Association' (IATA) codes, which are three-letter codes used to designate each airport, such as "BJS" for Beijing, or "OSA" for Osaka.
While it may seem as though this game is far easier to play due to the number of letters in the word only being three, it is in fact quite challenging because of the large amount of overlap in IATA codes. One must consider that there are nearly 20,000 different airports around the globe, each with a unique IATA code. Just like Wordle, Airportle can also be played directly in a web browser from a phone or computer.
