Seems like the Netherlands is in for some fresher air thanks to these Air Clean slabs. Researchers in Germany have developed air-purifying concrete that will be used to pave roads, reducing the negative impact of cars and trucks.

Air Clean slabs have already reduced the nitrogen oxides level by 20 to 30 percent — or even up to 70 percent on a still day, according to Dvice.
