Agent Provocateur has showcased their new high-end lingerie line, “Soiree,” at an intimate runway show held at the Soho Grand Hotel in New York. Described as the “ultimate luxury fanatasy,” Agent Provocateur’s Soiree line is high-end indeed, with bras that cost $750 and playsuits marked at almost $3,000 ($2,790 to be exact). One notable—and notably expensive—item was a hand-embellished leather corset (shown here) with 2-inch metal spikes, a plethora of studs and a $4,900 price tag. Along with this potentially-dangerous bedroom piece that has made celebrity waiting lists, Agent Provocateur’s Soiree line includes a “nipple cap” ensemble (if you can call it that) featuring strands of Swarovski crystals.  “With this range, the point is to not step back, because there are people for whom money is no object,” remarks Jess Morris, Agent Provocateur’s global marketing director. “These are the people whom we hope to be the customers for this collection.”
