Grandfather Clock Made of Toy Hulks and Ninja Turtles

This grandfather clock constructed of action figures and other toys is nothing like the versions of the timepieces that I grew up with. When visiting my grandparents we were surrounded by them—Grandpa made them. Most, like this one by Ryan McElhinney, also had Westminster chimes which played every 15 minutes, which made for tough sleeping at times. Now imagine this with the Hulk staring down at you.

Custom made for a home in Dubai, Irish designer McElhinney created this massive 2.2 metre tall grandfather clock from previously enjoyed toys including Ninja Turtles, Toy Story and Hulk figurines glued over an original timepiece form. The entire structure was then coated with a high gloss white polyurethane paint.
