Acne Studios has collaborated with KERO on a new pair of mules inspired by Swedish beak shoes. KERO, a brand known for its naturally-tanned leather beak shoes, has recruited Acne Studios in order to give the silhouette a modern update. The shoes arrive in cognac brown and black, boasting a comfortable insole made from shearling and 30mm of sole unit and tread. On the vamp, a tree-like design has been embossed onto the leather while a Swedish flag rests on the hanging tab.
The footwear offerings for this collaboration are inspired by tradition, fusing contemporary materials with aesthetics and design elements from the past. The Acne Studios x KERO collaborative mules are available on the former’s website for approximately $570 USD.
