Unlike Lubov Azria’s boudoir-inspired 2008 Fall Collection, there is an unspoken dreaminess in the recently released Max Azria 2009 Resort Collection, rumored to have been inspired during her desert isle honeymoon.  Ocean tides, tropical flowers, starry skies—everything you might expect to see in a remote tropical location, right?  Or, as Trend de la Creme points out, could Van Gogh’s abstract paintings, like the infamous ‘Starry Night,’ actually play a role here?
