Modernized Drive-Thru Locations

Roy Rogers Restaurants Launches Lancaster Drive-Thru

Roy Rogers Restaurants announced a multi-unit development agreement with operator Khalid Mughal to re-enter South-Central Pennsylvania, starting with a modernized drive-thru location at 520 Centerville Rd in Lancaster set to open this fall. The updated site will feature a warm, natural design, along with the return of the brand’s Fixin’s Bar, which offers signature sauces for sandwich customization.

The rollout also incorporates upgraded service technology, including electronic indoor menu boards, self-ordering kiosks and digital drive-thru displays to streamline ordering. Mughal, an operator with nearly 20 years of experience in the region, will oversee expansion across Lancaster, Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg under the agreement.

For consumers, the concept blends nostalgia with contemporary convenience, delivering classic menu items through faster, tech-enabled service touchpoints. The move reflects a broader quick-service trend toward experience-led, digitally enhanced drive-thru formats.
