Design company MVRDV broke ground on a new library in the Netherlands recently. The 'Book Mountain' building not only makes great use of space, but is a great design.

The books within the 'Book Mountain' are stacked into a tower, which not only looks amazing from inside, but because of the glass exterior, makes the books look integrated into the building design. Exciting use of literature from MVRDV.

Implications - A simple way for corporations to appeal to consumers is by presenting their brand or product in a familiar and approachable manner. While cutting-edge design and contemporary designs are impressive, consumers will be more likely drawn to products or services that are easy to recognize and identify amongst the others.
