 Eton 80th Anniversary Shirt Although this crisp, white Eton shirt looks like it’s in nestled in a coffin, the black case is actually more of a safe… or should be, considering it’s “The World’s Most Expensive Shirt,” costing about US $44,740. The Swedish brand created this shirt the £23,000 Egyptian cotton shirt to celebrate their 80th birthday. I’m guessing the present is actually the cheque they’ll get after selling it. So what type of qualities, other than being made of Egyptian cotton, does “The World’s Most Expensive Shirt” need? Well, other than diamond cufflinks and colored diamond studs, it would seem nothing else but a sophisticated European brand name.  But this one-off piece isn’t aimed at being a complete rip-off since the company plans to auction the thing for charity after it does a promotional tour of Eton stores across the world including outlets at Milan, LA and Stockholm so you might just have the chance to see for yourself what a shirt that retails for a good quarter of a million pounds looks like.
