Here’s a web cam that will really appeal to your nerdy side—it will make your footage appear 3D!

It films you from two separate video camera lenses, fairly close together, but far enough apart that it can create 3D-style footage. To get the full effect, viewers need to wear the cheesy 3D video glasses where one eye is tinted red, and the other blue.

It’s an incredibly cool idea, and certainly something a lot of tweens will insist they ‘have to have’ this Christmas, but really, how often will use it before the novelty wears off?
