UPDATE: This turned out to be a viral rumor as Obama declared it untrue. President Elect Obama is looking for a suitable bauble to thank Mrs. Obama for her support during his run for president. I guess he ruled out the diamond g-string, or the diamond bra, which is probably a good thing. Seems he has settled on a $30,000 rhodium ring that is surrounded by diamonds. The Harmony Ring is a top of the class masterpiece. Rhodium is one of the rarest metals, normally sold to only the very wealthiest individuals. Rhodium usually prices out at about $7,500 per OUNCE - The ring is hurriedly being made by Giovanni Bosco, jeweler for the ultra rich and famous.  A spokesman at Giovanni Bosco said: Our American distributor has contacted us and has asked us to provide details on the Harmony ring.It is our top of the range piece and made from rhodium and encrusted with diamonds.
Our agent in the United States was asked by Mr Barack Obama about the ring because he wants it as a thank you gift for his wife Michelle for her support the last two years.We have a select number of clients both in the United States, Europe, Russia and the Middle East.
