30 Years of Video Game Consoles

It’s hard to believe video game consoles have been around for more than 30 years!  The video shows the evolution of this entertainment gadget from the Magnavox Oydessy in 1972 to the most recent Wii. We have to remember that each of these were the very latest technology of the time.

Do you remember the very first Nintendo back in 1985?  It was a best selling video game console - 62 million units worldwide. Yet, the graphics look positively childish today. Evolution is good - today’s coolest game console will soon enough become dated and we will move on to the next entertainment leader. Enjoy this homage.
