These are 10 of the most highly decorated individuals in the world. They’ve transformed themselves into living art and in many cases taking their inspiration from the animal world.

Take Catman. This Native American underwent surgery and extreme dental work to make himself look like his totem animal, the tiger. The Tiger Lady, a performance and tattoo artist merely decorated herself with stripe tattoos. However like Catman, she can also wear whiskers with the help of special piercings on her face.

Then there is Eric Sprague aka The Lizard Man. Some people credit him for the popularising of the split or forked tongue look. With extensive tattoos, filed teeth, teflon implants under his eyebrows, he does look reptilian indeed.

Tom Leppard must have been inspired by his name for his is known as the Leopard Man, once the most tattoed man according to the Guiness Book of Records. The title of the most tattoed man now goes to the Australian known as Lucky Diamond Rich who is completely covered with tattoos. Every inch of him is tattoed including his eyelids, even his gums.

Horace Ridler was a professional performer in the days when they had freak shows. He also called himself the Great Omi. He started life as an English aristocrat before his strange transformation and died in 1969.

Paul Lawrence is the Enigma who is covered with blue puzzle tattos. He also is a performer whose act involves swallowing swords and wierd stunts like shoving a power drill up his nose.

Swiss Etienne Dumont considers his body decorations art. Besides colorful tattoos, he has horned silicon implants, large ear plugs and plexiglass piercings through his nose and lip. Julia Gnuse, the Illustrated Lady was motivated to cover blister scars she got from a condition called porphyria. She is the most tattoed woman in the world.

Both Elaine Davidson and the Zombie boy have been featured on Trendhunter before. Davidson is the lady with the most piercings - 6005 to date or some 3 kg worth of metal. She has about 1,500 internal piercings included in that number.

The Zombie boy is Rick who endured some 24 hours of tattoing for his walking dead look.
