There are a wide variety of prefabricated vacation retreats to choose from that are catered to consumers looking for a unique lodging experience. Prefabricated abodes are relatively simple to put together as they reuse already existing structures or come in preassembled parts. This concept makes it easier for companies to assemble the space and open it to the public in a short amount of time.

Prefabricated architecture tend to have intricate and unusual designs thanks to the way the space needs to be put together on site. Prefab structures also allow resorts to be constructed in remote locations such as the Living Ecological Alpine Pod that sits on the side of a mountain. Many of the resorts also have environmentally friendly values opting to reuse existing spaces. Examples of this include turning a previously used shipping container into a fully functional spa resort.
