Say what you will about reality TV entertainment, but it's become a cultural mainstay.

While few people admit to watching it (or if they do, it's begrudgingly, and often prefaced with the phrase "it's my guilty pleasure"), reality television is a booming business. Plenty of celebrities have gotten their start on reality television and gone on to carve out successful careers in the public eye. Take, for example, Lauren Conrad. The former star of Laguna Beach and The Hills, Conrad now runs her own lifestyle blog, and is a New York Times best-selling author. Though she's no longer on television, her brief stint on MTV offered fans a glimpse into her life, making her much more personable than other celebrities.

And of course, what would an article about reality television be without a mention of the Kardashians? The family has exploded with several television programs, fashion lines and endorsed products. Unsurprisingly, the famous family has spawned many other products and services, revealing our complete and total fixation for anything Kardashian.
