From Cafe-Style Coffee Machines to Family-Sized Breakfast Makers

While consumers continue to eat out on a regular basis, the March 2017 kitchen trends reveal a renewed emphasis on enjoying meals at home. This not only includes big meals such as dinner, but it also includes meals that are often rushed such as breakfast and coffee time.

In terms of recent breakfast innovations, many of these devices are designed to speed up cooking times. For instance, Nostalgia Electrics' 3-in-1 Breakfast Station allows users to grill, toast and brew coffee all at the same time. Similarly, the Happycall Nonstick Double Pan features two sides that can be closed to seal in heat and speed up cooking time.

While many consumers are eager to speed up breakfast so they have more time to enjoy it, the opposite can be said about brewing coffee. Indeed, those who choose to brew coffee at home are willing to sacrifice more time in the kitchen in order to achieve a better brew. Examples of these complex coffee machines include the Moccamaster brewer, the Freud stovetop espresso maker and the Nespresso Creatista machine.
