The sustainable building designed by architect Juan Blazquez is setting precedents for what future architecture in Malaga, Spain will look like. The building uses solar energy for heating and is made up of recycled and recyclable materials -- making it highly sustainable. The most striking aspect of this building is its wall made up of green vegetation which is not only an environmentally-friendly addition, but also makes a statement to those passing by about green energy practices.
The parallel structure designed in Colombia is yet another example of environmentally-friendly architecture -- this time in the form of a home. As it is important to incorporate sustainable practices into our daily lives in order to help combat climate change, this solar home is the perfect modern example of that.
