The new ad campaign for Hermès Fall/Winter 2008-2009 has an unusual adventurous snowy mountain climbing theme.
Photographer Eric Valy captured Italian model Mariacarla Boscono with bulls climbing the snow-covered mountains while wearing the chic pieces from the new Hermès collection.
This reminds me of a recent Steven Meisel shoot for US Vogue. But while the fur-wearing models looked more like goats climbing rocks in the ‘Natural High’ editorial, this new Hermès campaign is an excellent way to showcase their fall and winter creations in a realistic setting.
