Czech model Karolina Mrozkova stars in a prim and proper pastel-filled shoot for Elle Russia March 2012 that channels the slightly edgy, ladylike style of American women in the 1960s.
Karolina is pictured in a variety of neutral-tone and pastel looks against a pastel background, which, with her blonde hair in a half-beehive, adds a particularly interesting, washed-out color range for the images. Conservative patterns and prints also add to the feeling of ladylike gone wild. Accessories in the shoot include simple ribbon headbands, pearls, bold statement rings and a classic pink Birkin-like bag. The delicate, retro editorial was shot by photographer Matt Irwin for Elle Russia and was styled by Simon Robins.
