Barbie Doll Parts Made Into Jewelry

Margaux Lange Designs

You can relive your childhood with this fabulous range of jewelry made from old Barbie doll parts. Margaux Lange says, " Barbie was immensely important in fueling my creative life as a child, and ironically continues to be such for me as an adult." She uses hands, feet, eyes, ears and even the smiles to make her memorable jewelry. She sells them through her Etsy Store.

In her talented hands, little Barbie shoes form rings in a pinwheel fashion, feet and arms dangle from earrings and blue eyes peek out on a bracelet.

Some of her designs are cleverly named: "Surround sound" is her multiple ear pendant; "Like Breathing" features a lung shaped pendant; a bracelet called "Turn the other cheek" is made up of a series of doll bums! And let's not forget Ken, Barbie's BF. He also appeared in rings and earrings. His manly chest makes a stylish neckpiece! Her "Have a Heart" line is really Barbie doll busts encased in a sterling silver setting. As she says, the "breast part" is the $5 donation for each item sold to the Susan G Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.

Her portfolio on her website is definitely worth a look!
