The Nativity of the Maradonian Church, has been commemorated since October 30th 1998 since it is Diego Armando Maradona birthday . A group of friends started this church in the city of Rosario (Santa Fe) and the number of rites and followers/members has increased since then.
The first “Maradonian Easter†was celebrated on June 22nd 2002 and it coincides with the goal scored by Maradona to the British National Team, better known as “The hand of God†and it is repeated year after year.
