Implications - Sentenced to eight years in prison for killing her spouse in Hyogo Prefecture, the Kobe District Court in Japan had to face the fact that both youth crime and elderly crime are a serious problem. The rising number of older individuals in Japan isn't resulting in less crime and in fact, seems to be directly correlated.
