In a society where addiction runs rampant, cursing and destroying the lives of thousands, it seems that a person can become addicted to anything. The latest addiction that is afflicting people is an addiction to internet gaming.
And while addiction is not something to laugh at, I imagine that the only people with an addiction to internet gaming would be computer geeks who prefer a fantasy world where they rule, to reality, where they are socially awkward and unaccepted.
I hope that they have separate rehab facilities for these people. It might be a bit awkward for everyone after a rehab roommate reveals that they are in beating a crystal meth addiction, that you confess to your alternate reality internet addiction. As a person who does not happen to have an addictive personality, I wonder which is the lesser of the two evils?
