Here’s a site that lets you help to rescue animals with the click of a button. It’s not a hoax.

The Animal Rescue Site provides two ways to help animals in need. One is to go to the site and click on a “Click to Give,” button, the other is to shop on the site. A portion of all sales are donated to animals in need. The site is eager for clicking visitors, as the Australian fires have left a large number of animals in need.

I checked the claims on snopes.com and hoax-slayer.com. Both sites confirm that The Animal Rescue Site is legit. The site is part of CharityUSA.com and the GreaterGood Network Stores.

There is a wide variety of items to purchase on the site, from jewelry, clothing and accessories to green, fair trade and Petfinder products. If you aren’t interested in helping the animal rescue project, you can choose other causes to support when you make your purchase.
