Amazing rescue - As everyone survives after a US Airways Jet pilot makes a successful crisis landing on the Hudson River. What a happy ending to an otherwise disasterous event. Thank God everyone is safe!
The airplane took off from New York LaGuardia Airport, but shortly after take off both engines were down, and one was apparently on fire, when the hero pilot, Chesley Sullenberger managed to land safely on the hudson river. And he personally made sure the whole of the 148 passengers on the flight got out of the sinking plane and into rescues boats. This was just moments after take off.
This emergency landing has already been named ‘The miracle on the Hudson’. The pilot, the rescue boats and the rescue crews were all part of this extraordinary miracle. Well done!
