UN goodwill ambassador Nicole Kidman is one of the many high-profile activists who combats domestic violence against women. According to the Associated Press, last Tuesday, Nicole Kidman presented UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon with an anti-domestic violence campaign that contained over five million signatures in honor of the International Day to Eliminate Violence against Women.
Awareness is the first step towards enacting change. The campaigns below are both controversial and shocking--and intentionally so.
