Kevin Frayer is the genius photographer responsible for this shocking and hilarious photo series. His concept was very simple: walk into an IKEA store and capture shoppers taking a nap on the furniture. While many shoppers can attest to trying out pieces of furniture in a store, many would have a difficult time admitting that they actually fell asleep.
In China, however, having shoppers take a cat nap on IKEA's furniture is no different than Americans taking their dog for a walk. This particular series was shot in an IKEA in Beijing, one of the country's largest locations.
The photographer reveals that the consumers seemed extremely relaxed and comfortable on the beds, sofas, chaise lounges and recliners in the store. Some of the nappers even came equipped with snacks and beverages should they wake up in between dreams.
