To most people jellyfish are all the same, but with new findings it will be a specific species, the comb jellyfish, that will be getting all the national attention. New studies have come out showing that the comb jellyfish could be the cure to many diseases that ail the elderly, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
Both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's are fearsome diseases as they strike without warning and are absolutely ruthless. Many victims and families can feel helpless, but with the help of these new jellyfish there might be a chance to combat both diseases.
Comb jellyfish have a completely different genetic code that if harnessed could allow scientists the ability to help with degenerative diseases
