These celebrities are keeping it in the family by bringing their mothers with them as their Oscar dates. The newly formed tradition of bringing mom out to the show is recent but none-the-less pretty adorable for the Hollywood stars.

The reasoning behind this can vary but it's believed that the actors take their mothers to avoid criticism about their would-be actual dates.
