The Hop App Transforms Your Inbox Into a Messaging Platform
Jennifer Paul — February 20, 2014 — Tech
The Hop app launched an iPad version of its app recently. The app uses a lot of the features you would normally see in messaging platforms with real-time messaging, customized notifications, status indicators and icons but the new iPad app and iPhone updates allows users to use up to three email accounts, gesture-based controls, new image previews and dropbox as well as Twitter and Evernote integration.
Erez Pilosof says he is trying to improve the mobile experience of email because, as he told Mashable, “[he] was frustrated with the mobile experience of email.” The Hop app can now be downloaded and used right away. Hop originally launched its email app in October of 2013 but at the time it was called Ping. The new and improved Hop app is meant to make email integrate into your and not the other way around.
