Farida Helmy — January 22, 2014 — Lifestyle
If you like cozy wineries, former wine cellar Clemens Strobl Winery will definitely be one to be on the lookout for. Recently converted into a stunning contemporary winery in the charming Wagram region in Austria, this cozy winery really does hit the mark with its muted lights, unobstructed views of the vineyards and yummy wine.
Made possible by a collaboration of efforts by architecture office Wolfgang Wimmer, Christoph March and Marek Gut of Austrian design studio March Gut, the successful one-year renovation plan boats aesthetically pleasing results and functional architecture.
The renovation both shed light on some of the buildings original infrastructure as well as adding new modern open spaces such as fine food dining room, a terrace, a top-floor bedroom and a storage cellar and wine presentation center below ground level.
