This Rocking Stool is the Epitome of Easy-to-Assemble Furniture
Tia Clarke — March 5, 2013 — Art & Design
When London based designer James McBennet noticed there was a lack of easy assembled furniture on the market, he decided to create his own company which would fill that gap, and called it 'Fabsie.' His latest design called 'This Stool Rocks,' is a cleverly designed pine stool that can be assembled from a flat pack in minutes. The beauty of the stool's simplistic design is that the user can rock back and forth on it, and also swivel it around if need be.
All of the pieces from the 'Fabsie' store are hand-crafted, as opposed to mass produced, which is better for everyone all around. As the example shows in the video, you won't need a complicated set of instructions in 14 different languages to assemble this stool, it's a pretty self-explanatory process which can be done in minutes.
