Dolphins are smart, agile and adorable, but when you see a thousand going on a dolphin stampede, brings all three of those attributes to a whole new level.
Tourists aboard a whale-watching boat operated by Captain Dave’s Dolphin and Whale Safari near Dana Point, California were treated to the incredible sight. A pod of dolphins numbering around 1,000 not only swam alongside the boat, but outran the vessel impressively. Viewers on the boat (and of the YouTube clip) also had the opportunity to observe the phenomenon both over and above the surface, giving incredible insight as to how the speedy mammals move incredibly quickly without bumping into each.
It’s clear what this means. The dolphins are organizing for an uprising against mankind. It’ll be the most adorable revolution ever.
