The 'Reading for the Future' Infographic Encourages Literacy in Youth

The 'Reading for the Future' infographic encourages parents to get a jump start on literacy for their kids. Not only does being literate enhance your ability to achieve a successful future, it also greatly improves your overall life. The world of books is a unique and amazing escape for many; something that children should be able to partake in from an early age.

However, approximately 67% of fourth graders score below average on American reading tests. This may seem as though it is not that pressing of an issue, but this can be an indicator of later educational failure, including dropping out of high school.

Spending time at the library and encouraging the youth of America to find some books they are passionate about can combat falling literacy levels.
