Photograper Gray Malin Goes Above and Beyond for His Work

Photographer Gray Malin travels across the globe capturing images of the picturesque beaches not from the shorelines, but from high-altitude angles. Although the beaches of Miami and St. Tropez are certainly breathtaking on land, there is something captivating and sublime about Malin’s aerial perspective.

While beaches generally consist of sand and rolling waves, there are distinct habitual and organized differences amongst them. While some show rows of loungers, others depict clusters of sunbathers huddled in circular formations. The colorful umbrellas and microscopic beach grazers paint the sand with splashes of hues.

After quitting his job working for the President of Paramount Picture, photographer Gray Malin set up shop at the famed Melrose Flea Market in Los Angeles. His work has caught the attention of not only common buyers, but gallery owners and celebrities alike.
